Effective date: October 22, 2026 · Last updated: October 22, 2026

This policy explains what information the Strivora app (“Strivora,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Strivora is operated by Gova Creative LLC, Mailing address available on request.

  • Progress photos stay on your iPhone. They are never uploaded.
  • You can delete your account and all of your data at any time in the app (Me → Delete account).

Information collected automatically

  • Sign-in and security data. Our sign-in provider records basic technical information such as IP address and sign-in times to keep accounts secure.
  • Advertising data (free version only). Our ad partner, Google AdMob, may collect device and usage information such as IP address, device type, operating system, and ad interactions to deliver, measure and limit ads and prevent fraud. Strivora requests non-personalized ads only and does not ask for Apple’s permission to track you.

Information from Apple

  • Purchases. Subscriptions are billed by Apple. We receive your subscription status, not your payment card details.
  • Apple Health (optional). If you turn on Apple Health sync, Strivora reads your body weight and saves your weigh-ins to Apple Health. Data from Apple Health is used only to provide this feature. It is never used for advertising or marketing and is never sold.

Information that stays on your device

  • Progress photos are stored only on your iPhone and are not uploaded to us.
  • Daily scan count for the free barcode limit is stored on your device.
  • Reminders are scheduled on your device.

2. How we use information

  • Provide the app: calculate targets, log foods, show progress, sync across your devices, and power widgets and the Apple Watch app.
  • Apply safety rules, such as calorie minimums and the fasting screen.
  • Manage your subscription and restore purchases.
  • Show ads in the free version (non-personalized).
  • Respond to support requests, fix problems and keep the service secure.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your health, weight, food or journal data to target advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers.

3. How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run Strivora, under contracts that limit how they may use it:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) stores your account and app data. See Firebase privacy information.
  • Google AdMob serves ads in the free version. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
  • Apple processes subscription payments and, if you enable it, Apple Health data on your device.
  • Food databases. When you search for a food, the search words are sent to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s FoodData Central. When you scan a barcode, the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts. No account or health information is sent with these requests.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information).

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

4. Health information

Some information you enter, such as weight, food intake, fasting, pregnancy status and symptom ratings, may be considered health information. We use it only to provide the features you request. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it except with the service providers listed above. You can delete it at any time. Strivora is not a healthcare provider, and this information is not protected health information under HIPAA.

5. How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile and app data from our systems promptly; copies in backups are removed on the providers’ normal backup cycles. We may keep limited records when required by law.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correct: view and edit your information in the app.
  • Delete: Me → Delete account removes your account and all data. If you subscribe, also cancel in your Apple ID settings.
  • Apple Health: turn sync off in the app or in the iPhone Health app at any time.
  • Notifications: manage in the app or in iPhone Settings.
  • Ads: Strivora Premium removes ads.
  • Additional rights: depending on where you live (for example, California, Washington or other U.S. states), you may have rights to request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to appeal a decision about your request. Email us at [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to each account’s data is restricted to that signed-in user, and progress photos are stored with iPhone file protection. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

Strivora is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Where information is stored

Strivora is operated from the United States, and information is stored on servers in the United States.

10. Not medical advice

Strivora shares general nutrition and lifestyle guidance. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and does not give medication advice. Talk to your doctor before changing your diet or medication.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and let you know in the app before the changes take effect.
